This building is younger than "Old White House", built around, or before WWII. With the trees around, the old metal gate, the falling plaster, it attracted me with the feeling of belonging, of a permanent presence, of unchanging times. This is so much in contrast with North American buildings replaced so often that they don't have time create any memories. Even the materials radiate this energy that this is the place where this house is built to stay forever. |
